BHCS PTA
The BHCS Parent Teacher Association (PTA) plays a vital role in supporting our school community. Made up of parents, carers, staff and friends of the school, the PTA works tirelessly to enhance the experience of students by raising funds and strengthening links between home and school.
What the PTA Does
Through a range of events and activities held throughout the year, the PTA raises valuable funds that go directly back into the school. These funds help to support enrichment opportunities, resources, and activities that benefit all students and enhance school life beyond the classroom.
Events may include social activities, fundraising events and community initiatives that bring families together and help foster a strong sense of belonging within the BHCS community.
Just as importantly, the PTA provides an opportunity for parents and carers to be actively involved in school life, share ideas, and work collaboratively with staff to support our students.
Pre‑Loved Uniform Shop
One of the PTA’s key initiatives is the Pre‑Loved Uniform Shop, which offers families the opportunity to purchase good‑quality second‑hand school uniform at a reduced cost. This initiative helps to:
- Support families by making uniform more affordable
- Promote sustainability through re‑use and reduced waste
- Encourage a culture of community support within the school
Donations of clean, good‑condition uniform items are always welcomed, and all proceeds from the shop are reinvested back into the school to support students.
Get Involved
The PTA is always keen to welcome new members, whether you’re able to help regularly, lend a hand at events, or support occasionally when time allows. Getting involved is a great way to meet other parents and carers, contribute to the school community, and make a real difference to students’ experiences at BHCS.
For more information about upcoming events, the Pre‑Loved Uniform Shop, or how to get involved, please contact the school office or look out for PTA communications throughout the year.
