Safeguarding Support for Parents During the School Holidays

As we approach another short break from school for our students, it's is important to remember how and where you can get support if you have any concerns about your child's safety/wellbeing, or the safety/wellbeing of any of our students.

Therefore, below are some basic details about the different avenues of support you can explore if you do have a concern.

For non-urgent concerns or queries, you are welcome to contact the safeguarding team via email at safeguarding@bhcs.sfet.org.uk. This inbox will be routinely monitored, and any messages will be picked up by the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) team upon our return to school.

For urgent safeguarding concerns regarding your child or any Brighton Hill student, please contact Children’s Services directly:

  • 0300 555 1384 – during working hours

  • 0300 555 1373 – out of hours (evenings and weekends)

In an emergency situation, we recommend you contact the emergency services by calling 999.

Further information and a range of useful safeguarding links and resources can be found on our school website, including signposting to agencies that may be able to provide additional support during the holiday period:

Hopefully, though, this won't be needed and your child will enjoy their well-earned break.
