Welcome, BHCS Parents & Guardians!

Welcome to Brighton Hill's brand-new safeguarding blog, hoping to provide our whole community with regular information and guidance on how best to keep our students safe.
Throughout the course of the year, we hope that this blog will become a point of contact for anyone in our community (including parents/guardians, external partners, staff and students) who is looking for support with specific safeguarding concerns, or just hoping to strengthen their knowledge of how best the safeguard our students.
Covering topics including mental health and self-harm, online safety, staying safe in the community, building healthy habits and routines (and many, many more!) we hope that this blog will become a comprehensive one-stop shop for the very best safeguarding advice.
Firstly, let me introduce the safeguarding team at Brighton Hill, in the attached poster. These staff have specialist training to support our students, but all BHCS staff have the knowledge and skills to ensure our students are as happy and as safe as possible.
Look out for the first real blog post, coming very soon but, for now, if you have any questions or concerns, please contact us at safeguarding.bhcs.sfet.org.uk.
