No Mow May - a challenge for BHCS families!

As an Eco-Committee, we strive to make our school a sustainable place for our students to be in, and to do that, we will be taking part in No Mow May once again.
This year, we would like to invite you, the families of Brighton Hill Community School, to join us on this endeavour by simply not mowing a part of your lawn for the entire duration of May. We take part in No Mow May to promote biodiversity and to let a small part of our field grow a little bit 'wild' for a while, and we encourage you to participate too!
You will find more information about this campaign here. Not only is it a great way to encourage biodiversity, but it also promotes conversations at home with your child about the importance of the environment and would be a lovely way to mark the 100th birthday of Sir David Attenborough later this week too!
This links closely to one of the 3 target areas of our Eco-Schools campaign - Biodiversity.
Good luck!
