We've bin really busy...

Recently we educated our pupils about the importance of bins and what would go on in different types of recycling bin - this is ahead of a BIG investment we're making to upgrade the bins we have around the school site!
Why is this important?
This is important to our group as we want everyone to live in a world that promotes people working towards a completely eco-friendly environment, so we have a cleaner, greener future.
We educated all students about this in a whole-school assembly on the 17th April.
We have new bins coming, and we would want them to be used properly - they are quite expensive, but worth it if they are making a difference and used in the correct way.
Here is some of the key information from the Assembly:
What CAN'T go in recycling bins:
What is the impact of putting the wrong thing in a recycling bin...?
Imagine everything in the bin is correct but someone decides to throw a half empty pasta pot in it. That ruins the entire batch and must go into general waste... that means all of the waste still has to go to landfill, despite the majority of people trying their best to protect the environment.
We will keep you updated on our progress towareds securing our new bins!
